So I'm reading the news from cnn.com and I come across this little gem...
Excerpt from CNN:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush called Wednesday for an end to violence triggered by drawings of the Prophet Mohammed but also said press freedom should be exercised with sensitivity.
My response is what total crap that statement is. Simply put if the news offends you, don't read it.
I also wonder what "sensitive" means?
Wow, what does sensitivity actually mean? Does mean don't print cartoon thats people find offensive? Does it mean don't run stories they may upset people? Does it mean you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours? Does it mean don't run stories that make people respond emotionally?
Any one read fahrenheit 451 lately, I think the powers that be were trying to enforce sensitivity in that book.
