Update: As I write this I see the news has picked up on it. The media also refers to John as an inspector.
I can now provide the mans name..
"Mr Tierney said he leaked the tapes because he felt they were "too important" for the US to keep secret. The US State Department had no comment, but Charles Duelfer, head of the US-led search for weapons of mass destruction after the first Gulf War, told ABC News the tapes supported the view that Saddam was intent on rebuilding weapons of mass destruction"
Now pay attention to what Charles Duelfer said..
"Saddam was intent on rebuilding weapons of mass destruction".
So is Charles saying Saddam DID NOT have WMD'S?
As for Mr. John Tierney who said he was hired by a "firm" to translate these tapes that the F.B.I had back in 05. The tapes have been around since 02 according to media reports.
So we can expect an "I told you so" FOUR years after they had so-called evidence.
Well, we have an election year and we have Rove and we now have a man who was hired by a "firm" for the F.B.I to translate and HE decided to LEAK the tapes because they were so important? What a farce!
During Sean's propaganda hour Mr. Tierney who was jumping around so fast that it was hard to put anything together said that Saddam is quoted as saying, "Terrorism is coming to the U.S.
According to news reports the quote is that Saddam said
""I told the Americans a long time before August 2 and told the British as well ... that in the future there will be terrorism with weapons of mass destruction.""
I am in no way on the side of Saddam I am on the side of truth and this smells bad and it looks like a new way to try and get thus poll numbers up. It' an election year and we will see a lot of this propaganda. The sad thing is that the media will not look into any of this. They will simply report what they are told.
