Couldn't Hillary and her supporters have been better than Huckabee and his fans?

Mike 'squirrel eater' Huckabee is an idiot, a  wingnut, an asshole , a contemptible rethug. We know that.
He made a crass unfunny assassination(a-shoot-him-and-he-ducks joke actually) joke at a NRA rally and apologized for it immediately because he in his blessed cold wingnut heart had it in him to listen to some asshat fans/supporters of his who wrote him letters to condone the joke and apologize in his true Christian faith. He lost his VP slot chance nonetheless.

Check a few comments on his website's blog by his supporters if you care or don't go there because I don't want you to. There was a Huckabee supporter on Obama blog apologizing profusely all day.

Now about Clinton and her supporters, more after the jump.

As for Hillary and her supporters, let's examine the reactions of a few of them here and elsewhere later for a sampling of their mindsets.
There's a heartbreaking and  heart-rending  diary on the rec list titled why am i crying? by sunspark says.
Read it. Bless 'Sunspark says' and her dear little heart. I myself am a woman and  was saddened and torn up over her campaign's crass non-apologies to Obama and the uncanny game of political football that Hillary played with a charismatic leader's tragic death. Frankly I saw it as an assassination dog whistle. Some may disagree with me but there it is.

Now for an ex-president's wife who claims to have met leaders of 88 countries to go invoke the noxious poisonous 'A' word when we are living blatantly politically sensitive times in our lives is unpardonable and inexcusable.

But atleast her supporters could have asked once for her to apologize to Obama and Michelle and their guileless young'uns who will probably hear these lines repeated often at school and pretty much wherever they go and they'll feel fearful and unsafe too.

How callous of  these supporters who don't demand accountability from their so-called leader!

Here's how I demanded accountability from Obama-

There was a cluster-fuck that was waiting to happen in CA during delegate selection-convention time a month and a half or so ago. The Obama delegate candidates that were going to stand were many numbering in the range of a couple thousand for 70 spots or so.
Then the Obama campaign there did the practical albeit foolish thing that they thought was viable and purged the delegate candidate lists. What happened??
Outrage ensued and though I was not offended , I wanted my sisters and brothers who worked their butts off for the campaign and had dreamt of that time for months to have their chance to go there, shine and have their voices heard.
So I called the offices.  I sent emails . I expressed outrage and anguish and disappointment and told them in the strictest terms that they ought to allow each and every one of the delegation candidates to have a go at the local conventions.
They listened and the next day, early in the morning they announced they would make it a free-for-all and trusted the delegation-candidates completely not to switch their votes(their biggest fear at the time) at the convention.

SO there- that was one of the many pro-active demands I made of Obama and they listened to me. Why?
Because I care and I want to hold Obama and his campaign accountable. He hasn't disappointed me till now.

Now for  Clinton and her campaign and her supporters.
Here are a few choice reactions from her supporters who do not want to hold her accountable for the damage she has wrought on our emotions and the many violent memories she has invoked and most importantly the irrevocable mendacity of her 'historical reference' line and even more importantly the emotional trauma she has unleashed on Obama, Michelle and even more primally  the two little daughters of his who will not have known fear of death till now.

Here are some blinding caustic reactions from her supporters from the heart-rending diary I referred to earlier.

If you think she took a "tragic fall" because she told an editorial board that campaigns often go into June and then used one apt and one unfortunate and inapt illustration of that, then you are in for a rude awakening.

Do you want Republicans to jump all over Obama's ass when --as is inevitable-- he says something stupid (such as that he has been to all 57 states, or that people "cling" to religion), then you are playing their game: distracting from the issues by playing gotcha.

Don't let them do it. And don't you do it. Let's talke about health care, the economy, and how the hell we are going get this country back on its feet.

Congratulations on making the rec list, though.

You Obama supporters are nuts in your ranting about Hillary. Can someone please explain to me how mentioning RFK could be taken to mean that Obama will some how be taken out ? Did she say Obama's name or are you smearing her good name? Don't forget she is still a democrat or have you forgotten...

This political season has done more to turn hardcore democrats into republicans than anything I can imagine.

All you people are losers smearing Hillary Clinton for political gain. Just keep it up and you will see the rage against you at the polls.

Obama supporters always claim to be crying (0 / 0)

It's so fake. I visit the Democratic Underground, and I remember at least a dozen instances in which Obama supporters start threads (or diaries) claiming to have tears in their eyes product of a statement by Hillary Clinton or Geraldine Ferraro.

Those who recommend these diarist pretend to believe the diarist claim that he/she is crying, because it suits their candidate.

Be real.

So when will the Clinton supporters hold Clinton accountable for the misery she has wrought on Malia and Sasha 's young minds??
When will they demand apologies?
Or are they worse than Mike 'Squirrel-eater' Huckabee's supporters??

PS-by no means is Clinton worse than Huckabee in other aspects of her personality but blind-sided by power she definitely is.
