today, CommonDreams posted an article that adds a lot of information to that disscussion

dick cheney is losing "it". The continually exposed failures and incompetence in Iraq are driving the repuglican party into the waste bin of history. dead eye dick's only hope of saving his his plan to dominate the MidEast's oil reserves is a war between America and Iran. Unfortunatly for dead eye dick, Iran ain't playing that game.

Since dick doesn't like to lose, he did the only thing an irrational person could do. He went as close to Iran as his chickenhawk heart would let him, and he delivered a speech to a captive audience of American Soldiers that was the diplomatic equivilent of sticking his tongue out at Iran

the NY Times has an article at the top of their web page that treats this little tantrum as if it were a real world act of diplomacy, but basically, the Vice president of the United States stood in the hangar of an aircraft carrier and "called Iran Out"

Since then, more than 100 American Soldiers have died, while george bush sat around pulling everybody's dick. The "Plan george bush announced last night is neither "NEW", nor a plan for "Victory". george bush can't explain what a victory in Iraq would look like (and I'll bet he can't even spell the word "Victory")
